CAMERON—A juvenile whose place of address was listed only as “Milam County” was convicted of indecency with a child after a four-day jury trial last week .
Prosecutor Bill Torrey said the jury returned a verdict of “true” to the charge of indecency with a child by sexual contact.
“In juvenile cases the verdict is not ‘guilty or not guilty,’ but allegations of misconduct are either found to be ‘true or not true’,” he said.
Judge John Youngblood sentenced the juvenile to two years regular probation, 80 hours community service, $3,000 restitution to the victim’s family and ordered not to be left alone with children under 12.

• Charles Henry Ellison, III 38, Cameron, 12-month prison term after pleading “true” to motion to revoke probation for an original conviction of possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).
• Kyle Jay Jones, 32, Rockdale, two-year state jail term probated three years, complete theft aversion course, $1,500 fine, $2,480 restitution to victim after pleading guilty to burglary of building.
• Bobbie Joe Blaylock, 39, Cameron, two-year probated state jail term, a $2,500 fine after pleading guilty to evading arrest with prior
