Rockdale police made the final arrest Friday from a series of incidents which included an incident in which a Rockdale Youth Baseball Association building was vandalized last month.
Police said a 16-year-old male juvenile, listing a Cameron address, was charged with warrants alleging burglary of a vehicle and burglary of a building.
“There was also a directive to apprehend for violation of a court order,” Lt. Stephen Goodrich said.
Goodrich said the arrest closed the books on the recent incidents. He said three juveniles and one young adult were charged.
CHASE, WARRANT-A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a driver police believe was the person who led an officer on a chase which ended with a crash.
Named in the warrant was Roman Ramos, 27, of Rockdale.
Goodrich said the chase reached speeds of 80-90 miles per hour on FM 908 and that the suspect eluded a pursuing officer but crashed on a county road.
“It was obvious from what was found at the scene that the suspect sustained some injuries,” Goodrich said.
ARRESTS-Other felony arrests during the past seven days:
• Alesha Gail Hoskins, 29, Rockdale, parole violation, in custody, no bond.
• Russell Alan Kelley, 45, Rockdale, tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair, in custody on $7,000 bond.
OFFENSES—Police said an air conditioning unit was taken during a break-in over the past week.
Other offenses reported to police included possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal trespass, disorderly conduct/obscene language, tampering with physical evidence with intent to impair, burglary of a building, evading arrest with vehicle, assault causes bodily injury, assault causes bodily injury/ family violence and burglary of a vehicle.
CITATIONS —Police issued five citations during the past week, one each for speeding, running a red light, driving with license invalid, no driver’s license and failure to drive on the right side of roadway.
ACCIDENT—Police were called to one accident during the past week, a report that a vehicle had run into a yard. Driver was listed as Frankie Salcedo, 23, of Rockdale.
SERVICE CALLS-Officers responded to 200 calls for service during the past seven days and there were 95 calls received through the 911 system at the Rockdale Police Department.
