Rockdale American Legion Carlyle Post 358 will host a turkey shoot Sunday at the post home, 2535 North FM 487, 1.1 mile north of the FM 487 intersection.
Food and drinks will be available at 11 a.m. with shooting starting at noon.
Cost is $5 per round with 12 shooters per round. Winner of each round gets 50 percent of the round’s take.
Guidelines include: 12-gauge, maximum barrel length 32 inches including the choke, no super full-extra full chokes.
Ammunition will be provided.

MARC Ride meeting scheduled Sunday
The next planning meeting for the 18th Annual MARC Ride is set for 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Milam Adult Resource Center.
For 2019, the ride has been changed from April to June 8.
