Rockdale City Manager Tim Kelty and Eastside City Council Representatives Esmeralda Ruelas-Olivares and Scott Starnes participated in an action day with Senator Charles Schwertner and Representative Stan Gerdes at their capitol offices as part of their mid-year conference. The group spent time with the legislators going over proposed bills affecting local government.
