Parents looking for something for their children to do this summer can enroll their them in summer church camps.
These vacation Bible schools are being taught throughout the summer season and offer a variety of activities with a Christian message for students of all ages.
Here is a listing:
June 3-6 – Meadow-brook Baptist Church will host VBS “In the Wild Amazing Encounters with Jesus” from 9 a.m.-noon at 1401 Colorado Ave., Rock-dale.

June 3-7 – The First Baptist Church of Thorn-dale’s five-day African adventure called “Life is wild, God is good.”
Students can register at 100 Sydney Blvd., Thorn-dale. Bible school starts 9 a.m.-noon June 3-7.
July 29-Aug. 1 – VBS at St. John’s UMC will be hosted by St. John’s United Methodist Church and Peace Lutheran Church.
This year’s theme is “To Mars and Beyond. Registeration information will available near the end of June.
