Local musician streaming gig Sunday

Sunday, Rockdale resident Sparky Thomason, left, will livestream a gig with his quintet from 7:30-9 p.m. The show can be seen on monksjazz.com or any of Monk’s Jazz Club’s social media platforms. The RHS alum plans to play newly-written tunes he has never performed in public including a six-movement suite called “Rolling Blackouts.” Those wishing to listen can donate to the musicians at PayPal: leethomason1 or Venmo: plugmusic.
