Just because the 2018-19 school term is over, that doesn’t mean activities have ceased in the Rockdale ISD.
High School Principal Tiffany Commerford Whitsel provided this information in her most recent newsletter:
The campus received STAAR EOC scores the last day of school.
Counselors and teachers contacted parents of the students that did not meet passing standard on their exams.
Students who did not meet the passing standard were invited to attend a test prep session and retake the exam in June. Campuses will receive the score reports in August and we will share those at schedule pick-up.

DRIVER’S ED—Class dates continue through June 13 in the simulator located in the Ag parking lot.
FRESHMAN CAMP— Class of 2023, just a reminder that camp forms were sent home to all eighth graders in May.
We are still taking registrations for freshmen camp and need them ASAP so we can order shirts and food.
There are extra forms in the front office and on the RHS webpage.
UPDATE—GPAs and class rank were updated in Skyward Monday with the results from the spring semester.
SUMMER READING— Pre-AP and AP Summer Reading Assignments are posted on the Rockdale High School webpage and hard copies are available in the front office.
If you are unable to purchase/find a copy of the book there are copies available at the high school see Mrs. Whitsel, (512) 430-6140.
TRANSCRIPTS—Mrs. Neal goes on summer break starting June 28 and does not return until August.
Please make sure that any additional transcript requests are submitted ASAP. It takes 2-5 business days to complete requests.
