Rockdale Chamber of Commerce will hold a lunch and learn titled “Scaling Your Business in a Rural Landscape” at the Patterson Center on Thursday, March 27, from 12-noon to 1 p.m.
A panel of speakers including Aimee Herrin with Barndos & More, Kathryne Roddam with Real Estate by Kathryne, Trey Felton with Thorndale Meat Market and John Dean with TX Rec Land Real Estate and Oak Stone Real Estate, all of whom have successfully built their brands beyond Rockdale.
Tickets are $10 for chamber members and $15 for non-members.
MCGS to meet
March 25th at library
The Mi lam County Genealogical Society will hold their next meeting at 2 p.m. March 25 in the Lucy Hill Patterson Memorial Library.
The speaker will be Dr. John Pruett who will be sharing stories of his 4th great grandfather Captain Godfrey Oconus Dreher, a patriot of the American Revolution. Guests are always welcome.
City looking for board volunteers
The City of Rockdale is looking for civic-minded citizens to serve on city boards and commissions.
