Accidents
Sargent Fain responded to a major accident on Tuesday at 437 San Gabriel. Unit No. 1 was driven by 17-year-old Colton Driver of Rockdale which hit a tree. Passengers were Jose Saldana, 17, and Skyler Weichert, 17. All three were extricated and flown by PCI to the hospital. Unit No. 2 was driven by Cedric Mitchell of Rockdale who fled the scene. RVFD, AMR and PCI responded.
Officer Parker responded to 437 San Gabriel on Saturday in reference to a 911 call about a vehicle that had crashed into the back of a parked car. Adrian Javier Rios was transported by AMR. Both vehicles had major damage.
Calls
Rockdale Police Officers responded to 282 total calls for service during the past week of which 92 were 911 emergency calls.
Arrests
Rockdale Police Officers made two felony arrests during the past week including one for violation of a bond/protective order and racing on the highway.
Citations
RPD officers issued eight citations during the past week including eight for speeding and two for no drivers license.
Incidents report
Last week’s incident report included failure to stop and render aid, violation of bond/protective order, racing on the highway and cruelty to livestock animal.
