MARC Pajama Party and Fire Safety Day

Last Wednesday the MARC consumers had a pajama day and learned about fire safety from none other than Rockdale VFD Fire Marshall Herbie Vaughn.

Consumer Daniel Brymer (above) is shown a demonstration by MARC Board member Wendie Upson of the fire department’s imaging camera which is used to make sure no one is left inside a house that is on fire.

Far left, Vaughn shows Janie Zamora how to use a fire extinguisher.

The good folks at Caffey Corner, Brad and Cassie Caffey, provided everyone with delicious tacos as a special treat. At left, they were delivered by Caffey Corner employees Breonna Travis and Hilaria Otero.
