The Little River Basin Master Gardeners (Milam County) will host a free public event at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21. The topic presented by two master gardeners will be “Look Into Your Trees.” The program will be held at the former Bea’s Kitchen located at 101 E. Main St. in Cameron.
Attendees will hear about the following topics, plus be entered into a drawing to win free trees: How trees affect your life, property and utilities; how trees benefit the planet, your town and your backyard; how trees react to the heat and drought of the summer 2022; strategies to help trees survive and tips to look for when shopping for trees this fall: roots, trunks and branches.
