Math, science students advance to UIL regionals

Milano Academic UIL competed in Brenham March 24. Advancing to regionals are the mathematics team and one member of the Science team. Congratulations to all students that competed.

Academic contests don’t get the fans—or cheerleaders— but they need to be recognized. These students are very talented when it comes to academics and they get that way from studying and practicing, much the same way athletes get better at their sport. These kids are very cool in my book!
