The filing pace for May 4 city and school elections was non-existent every place but Milano during the past week.
MILANO—The three MISD trustees whose terms expire in 2019, have filed in Milano, making that a four person chase for three at-large slots at the moment.
Incumbents Carl Blake, Lynnette Taylor and Michael Andrews have now fi led.
They join Dennis Magee on the ballot.
No new filings for the City of Milano, where Mayor Roddy Gage and council member Glenda Westbrook are seeking new terms.
Other terms expiring this year are those of council members David Gunnels Jr. and Steve Honeycutt.
Filing for both races is in the Milano ISD Superintendent’s Office, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays.
ROCKDALE—No new filings in Rockdale during then past week.
Jillian McEntarffer is seeking the Place 3 school board position being vacated by Michelle Lehmkuhl, who is not seeking re-election.
Trustees Charles Miles (Place 4) and Wenda Dyer (Place 5) have filed for new terms.
Candidates may file weekdays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Feb. 15 at the RISD Central Administration Building, 520 West Davilla.
THORNDALE—There have still been no filings for either the Thorndale ISD School Board or Thorndale City Council.
Terms of Thorndale ISD trustees David Hall (school board president), Kirk Becker and Dean Betak are expiring this year.
Filing is 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays in the TISD superintendent’s office.
Terms of Mayor George Galbreath and council members Larry Drabek and Stephanie Churchman are expiring in 2019.
Filing is at City Hall, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
DEADLINE—Final day to file in any of those races is Feb. 15.
