The Rockdale Municipal Development District board of directors will hold a special meeting Thursday to discuss plans to hire an executive director.
The group will meet and, after formalities, will adjourn into executive session where they plan to discuss the employment and the duties of a district director.
The MDD has been without a regular district director since October when it relieved the last executive director in October of 2020.
Uryan Nelson has been serving as interim director since February of this year.
Nelson is with the Central Texas Council of Governments where he is the planning and regional services director.
