Memorial Day service at the American Legion

MASTER OF CEREMONIES—American Legion Post 358 Chaplin Bob Harris led Monday’s program by recognizing POWs and MIA veterans.

GIFT—Dr. John Mike Weed III made the American Legion Post 358 a donation of his grandfather’s, John M. Weed Sr., World War I Uniform and all of the hats that went along with it over the years. Dr. Weed will also supply the means to have it preserved so it doesn’t deteriorate any further than it has. To be so old it is in remarkably good condition.
