POLICE REPORT
Methamphetamine in a soft drink cup containing soda netted drug charges after a traffic stop last week in Rock-dale.
Lt. Stephen Goodrich said the vehicle was stopped on a license plate infraction.
“Upon investigation it was found a substance had been placed in a soft drink cup containing soda,” Lt. Stephen Goodrich said.
Skody Neil Robertson, 26, Pflugerville, was charged with possession of a controlled substance (2oo to 400 grams).
Robertson was also charged with tampering/fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair.
“While talking to him, the suspect began to exhibit physical signs of meth use, Goodrich said. “We believe he had ingested some.”
That resulted in a trip to Baylor Scott & White Hospital for treatment.
Robertson remains in the county jail at presstime in lieu of $70,000 bond.
Joslyn Christine Heuer, 35, of Pflugerville, the other occupant of the vehicle, was arrested on different charges, possession of a controlled substance (less than one gram), possession of a controlled substance (3 to 28 grams). She was released on $12,000 bond.
ARREST—A 21-year-old Rockdale man was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Police said, after a verbal argument at the Budget Inn, it’s alleged the suspect went to his room, returned with a sawed-off shotgun and made threats. No injuries were reported.
Charles Bradford was also charged with bond surrender on an original charge pf terroristic threat cause fear of imminent bodily injury. He remains in custody on $32,500 bond.
ACCIDENTS—Police said vehicles driven by Damian Duran of Rockdale and Kristian Laury of Cameron were involved in an accident at 5:35 p.m. March 6 near Brook-shire Bros.
Drivers in a 4:19 p.m. Thursday collision at Cameron (US 79) and Childress were listed as Marissa Kaderka-Davenport of Rockdale and William Treadway of Lufkin.
Pecos at Meadow was the site of an accident at 10:15 p.m. Saturday. Drivers were listed as Lucas Hogan and Tyler Lehmkuhl, both of Rockdale.
Police said vehicles driven by John Clark and Joel Cam-pa, both of Rockdale, were in collision at 11:15 p.m. Saturday in the Gill’s parking lot.
