Milano High School One Act Play cast and crew have advanced again. The group was one of two advancing schools at the bi-district contest held Monday at Wilhelm Performing Arts Center in Bastrop.
The company now advances to the Class 2A Region IV contest on April 12-13 in Corpus Christi.
Milano’s OAP entry is the play “Lafayette No. 1.”
Several students also came home with individual awards. Best Performer was Josh Millar and Best Technical Crew Member was Noah Wall.
Earning All-Star Cast awards were Cordell Spears and Malinda Storey, with Jaden Carmichael receiving Honorable Mention All-Star Cast.
The group is directed by Susan Meyer.
SUNRISE SERVICE— Liberty Community Church will have an Easter “Sunrise Service” at 7 a.m. Sunday, April 4. Attendees are welcome to sit in vehicles for service. Coffee and donuts will be served after the service. Everyone please come and join us, spokesperson Bert Mills said.
