MHS sophomore Hill named ‘Poetry Out Loud’ finalist

Evie Hill, a sophomore at Milano High School, has advanced to the Poetry Out Loud state finals!

After winning our local competition and competing in the state semi-finals, she has been selected as one of only 10 students in Texas to compete at the state level.

State contest will be in the Texas Spirit Theater at the Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22. The contest is open to the public.
