Milam County Commissioners, in a unanimous vote Thursday morning, have imposed a outdoor burning ban for Milam County, beginning on 12:01 p.m. that day.
Such bans affect the rural areas of the county. Municipalities in the county have their own, permanent outdoor burning bans.
