Milam County 4-H will start enrollment on Sept. 1. You can enroll online by going to www.join4h.com and select the Join 4-H link on the front page. Enrollment for 4-H members is $25 per member and $10 per volunteer. We have a variety of 4-H projects and opportunities for you to do in 4-H.

Texas 4-H is for kids of almost any age—grades K-2 can be in Clover Kids if offered in your area. From3rd-12th grades, you can be a regular 4-H member.

Finding a 4-H ClubYour local County Extension Office can help you find a club that is right for you. We have 6 4-H Clubs in Milam County. Most 4-H members attend a 4-H club in their community and some attend where it is more convenient or what club best fits you. Here is a list of our 4-H community clubs:

• Cameron 4-H Club

• Davilla 4-H Club

• Gause 4-H Club

• Rockdale 4-H Club

• Thorndale 4-H Club

• Project 4-H Club: Shooting Sports 4-H Club. You must also be in a community club above in addition tothis project club.

Finding a 4-H ProjectAll 4-H members must be enrolled in at least one project. When you choose a project, you will learn everything there is to know about that topic. You will participate in various hands-on activities, learn new skills, do community service, or even make speeches about your project.Choosing a 4-H projectSelect a project you like. Consider the money and time it will take. Can parents/guardians help?

Consider the space and equipment that you have at home.

A 4-H project should be fun, serve a purpose, and be worth the effort.

Select only the number of projects you can complete.
