Under the direction of Bill Torrey, the Milam County district attorney, the following felony cases were resolved in Judge John W. Youngblood’s 20th Judicial District Court, for the period ending March 4:

• Elizabeth Breize Barron, 27, Thorndale, sentenced to five years confinement in TDCJ, after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, forgery of financial instrument – enhanced (elderly).

• Steven Craig Spink, 50, Justin, sentenced to 213 days confinement in the state jail division of TDCJ after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for a state jail felony, criminal mischief ($1,500-$20,000) and sentenced to 10 years confinement in TDCJ, probated for 10 years with standard conditions of probation, including $5,500 restitution to the victims after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, bail jumping – fail to appear.

• William Zachary Wallace, 38, Rockdale, sentenced to five years confinement in TDCJ and ordered to pay a $2,500 fine after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, assault family violence – impede breathing/circulation and sentenced to eight months confinement in the state jail division of TDCJ after pleading guilty to a state jail felony, possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).

• Michael Ray Damron, 44, Rockdale, sentenced to two years confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, possession of controlled substance (1-4 grams).

• Lawrence Patrick Gonzales Jr., 30, Rockdale, sentenced to four years confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, theft of firearm from nonprofit.

• Amanda Marie Rodriguez, 27, Rockdale, sentenced to three years confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, possession of controlled substance (1-4 grams) and sentenced to three years confinement in TDCJ after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for an original third-degree felony charge of possession of controlled substance (1-4 grams).

• Antonio Rodriguez Jimenez, 33, Cameron, sentenced to three years confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, terrorist threat impair public/government service.

• Carlos Arvizu, 30, Rockdale, sentenced to five years confinement in TDCJ after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for an original third-degree felony, assault causes bodily injury family violence with previous convictions.

• Amber Grace Ellis, 28, Temple, sentenced to three years confinement in TDCJ after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for an original third-degree felony, unlawful possession of firearm by felon.

• William Earl Brown, 57, Cameron, sentenced to 12 months confinement in the Milam County Jail, probated for 24 months with standard conditions of probation and a five-year protective order for the victim after pleading guilty to a Class A misdemeanor, lesser included assault causing bodily injury – family member.

• David Preston Campbell, 35, Rockdale, sentenced to 602 days confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, evading arrest with motor vehicle.

• Heather Nicole Franco, 32, Belton, sentenced to one year confinement in the Milam County Jail, probated for two years with standard conditions of probation, including the successful completion of drug education class and ordered to pay a $2,500 fine after pleading guilty to a Class A misdemeanor, lesser included possession of controlled substance (less than 28 grams).

• Judith Ashley Serna, 28, Rockdale, sentenced to two and a half years confinement in TDCJ and ordered to pay $180 restitution to the DPS lab after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, possession of controlled substance (1-4 grams).

• Charles Brandon Wells, 32, Gause, sentenced to 275 days confinement in the state jail division of TDCJ after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for an original state jail felony, unauthorized use of motor vehicle.

• Tobert William Phillips Jr., 28, Milano, sentenced to two years in the state jail division of TDCJ and ordered to pay $240 restitution to the victim and a $2,500 fine after being sentenced by the court on a motion to revoke probation for an original state jail felony, forgery of financial instrument.

• Christopher Kenton Rosemond, 32, Cameron, sentenced to five years confinement in TDCJ after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for an original third-degree felony, possession of controlled substance less than one gram – enhanced.

• Marco Antonio Romero-Nunez, 35, Taylor, sentenced to six months in the state jail division of TDCJ after pleading guilty to a state jail felony, possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).

• David Gordon Taylor, 58, Belton, placed on two years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation and ordered to pay a $2,500 fine after pleading “no contest” to a third-degree felony, assault causing bodily injury family violence with previous conviction.

• Erminia Anita Bosquez, 19, Pleasanton, placed on two years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation and ordered to pay a $1,000 fine and $700 restitution to the victim after pleading guilty to a Class A misdemeanor, lesser included attempted burglary of building.

• Angel Rios, 28, Cameron, placed on 10 years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation including sex offender treatment, ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and restitution of $180 to the drug lab and agreed to a 10-year protective order for the victim after pleading guilty to a first-degree felony, manufacture/deliver controlled substance (4-400 grams) in a drugfree zone.

• Danny Weldon Ashcraft, 65, Bartlett, placed on two years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation and ordered to pay a $1,000 fine and $180 restitution to the DPS lab after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, possession of controlled substance (1-4 grams).

• Marilynn Sherett Hudson, 39, Cameron, placed on five years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation including 30 days confinement in the Milam County jail as a condition of probation and ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and restitution of $820.79 after pleading guilty to a second-degree felony, assault on a peace officer.

• Excell Oshae Nelson, 25, Rockdale, placed on three years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation and ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and $180 restitution to the DPS lab after pleading guilty to a second-degree felony, possession of controlled substance (4-400 grams).

• Ricky William Boggs, 60, Rockdale, placed on three years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation and ordered to pay a $2,500 fine after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, evading arrest with motor vehicle.

• Ezequiel Castro-Escalante, 32, Cameron, was placed on three years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation and ordered to pay a $2,500 fine after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, evading arrest with motor vehicle.

• Allen Louis Bishop, 54, Houston, placed on five years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation and ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and $180 restitution to the DPS lab after pleading guilty to a second-degree felony, possession of controlled substance (1-4 grams) – enhanced.

• George Buenaventura-Salinas, 25, Houston, placed on three years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation and ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and $180 restitution to the DPS lab after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, prohibited substance correctional facility.

• Kalie Summer Bright, 26, Georgetown, placed on five years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation and ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and $180 restitution to the DPS lab after pleading guilty to a third-degree felony, lesser included possession of controlled substance (1-4 grams).
