The Milam County tire cleanup day is Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Any Milam County resident can bring old automobile, implement and tractor tires to the Precinct 3 headquarters at 107 N. FM 487 in Rockdale on June 12 and drop them off at no charge.
This does not apply to commercial dealers or anyone involved in dumping litigation and/or cleanup. The Central Texas Council of Governments is in charge of the cleanup effort.
