SHERIFF’S REPORT
This is the page where you usually read the jail log, listing persons booked into the county jail during the past week, and the Sheriff’s Report, listing calls made by Milam County Sheriff’s Department. officials.
But not this week.
The sheriff’s department notified area media outlets at 7:16 a.m. Tuesday that their computer system, which generates both reports. “has been down for the past week,” thus there would be no jail log nor sheriff’s report for this week’s Reporter.
It’s hoped the reports will resume next week.
