"Today, we report our 58th COVID-19 related death in Milam County," county judge Steve Young wrote in a Wednesday night email. " This person was not vaccinated and infected with the Delta variant."

 

There are two new PCR cases and two discharged PCR cases; nine probable cases and one discharged probable case for a net increase of eight new confirmed cases. We have 204 confirmed active cases in Milam County.

 

No one was hospitalized and four individuals were discharged from area hospitals. Nine individuals are on ventilators.
