MISD REPORT

Our seniors are preparing to transition into the next phase of their lives.

Graduation is 7 p.m. Friday evening, in the Geneva Paceley gymnasium.

Our eighth graders will have their promotion ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Thur-day our fifth graders will be ready to transition from elementary to junior high.

The Texas Honor Roll presented by Educational Results Partnership (ERP) and the Institute for Productivity in Education (IPE) recently recognized Milano Elementary as an Honor Roll school.

This designation recognizes Milano Elementary as a leader in student achievement and will provide the campus with a banner to display.

They will also be featured on IPE’s website where educators and policy makers seek out high performing schools so that they can replicate success.

The honor roll recognizes public school campuses that demonstrate consistently high levels of student academic achievement, improvement in achievement over time, and reduction in achievement gaps.
