This week the Simpson twins are in Colorado at church camp. No cell phones for nine days. I know they will survive, but the looks on the faces of all those teens as they boarded the bus can only be described as high anxiety.
Conversation is a lost art. Gone are the days when people just went visiting and talked. I know they will all come back better for it with no pictures on their phones. Just a head filled with memories.

LAST WEEK
(Following is last week’s Milano news. It was inadvertently left out of last week’s Reporter.)
The citizens of Milano were treated to a terrific July 4 parade on Monday. In spite of the heat we had a great turn out.
A huge thank you to all of the volunteers that made it a great time to spend with family and friends. There is a lot to be said for living in a small town that values community.
And as promised, Miss Flame was beautiful and a delight to see.
