The Milano School Board race has heated up and there are five people running for two spots on the ballot.
The contestants are Neile Briden, Carlos R. Campos, Gary Steinbecker, Blake Debault and Odes Foster Jr.
Voters will be instructed on the ballot to vote for none, one or two of the candidates.
Milano will also be voting for the creation of the Milam County Emergency Services District No. 1.
There is no early voting location in Milano, but Milanoans are welcome to vote in either Rockdale or Cameron. On voting day, May 6, voting will be held at the Milano Volunteer Fire Department.
