MILANO—The MISD Administration Building is the site for city and school voting. Hours are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Thursday and again Tuesday and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Monday.
Mayor Roddy Gage is challenged by Karl Westbrook.
In the Milano City Council, Bryan Woods joins incumbents David Gunnels Jr., Steve Honeycutt and Glenda Westbrook in a four-person chase for three at-large seats.
The Milano ISD school board race ended up as a five person race for three spots with newcomers Greg Spears and Dennis Magee, along with incumbents Carl Blake, Lynnette Taylor and Michael Andrews.
THORNDALE—Early voting for the Thorn-dale city race is in the TISD Administration Building.
There are extended 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. hours on Wednesday (April 24) and again on Tuesday (May 1).
Hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Monday.
In Thorndale the contested race is for the city council where four candidates, including one incumbent, are vying for two positions.
They are Stephanie Churchman (incumbent), Ashley Moehling (Towery), Gerald Niemtschk and Jared Melde.
Thorndale Mayor George Galbreath Jr. is unopposed for a new term.
There’s no school board race where incumbents David Hall (board president), Kirk Becker and Dean Betak are unopposed for new terms.
