Rockdale Police made one felony arrest over the past week that happened after a wreck.
FELONY ARRESTS — Juan Rubio Jr., 50, Rockdale, on Sept. 10 for failure to maintain financial responsibility and a local warrant for burglary of habitation.
Police officers made numerous arrests over the past week that included theft less than $100, interfering with an emergency call, criminal trespass, driving without a license, expired registration. Other arrests included four for driving without a license.
There was an arrest for possession of marijuana less than two ounces.
ACCIDENTS—Police responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 1500 block of West Cameron Ave. on Sept. 8 at around 8 a.m.
There was a two-vehicle accident at Cameron Ave. and Main Street with no injuries and minor damage to one vehicle and no damage to the other Sept. 9.
Police also responded to a wreck Friday in the 2000 block of Yokley where one vehicle hit a parked vehicle.
Police issued 11 citations with one for a violation of driver’s license restriction and 10 for speeding.
CALLS FOR SERVICE—Officers responded to 220 total calls of which 93 were 911 calls over the past week.
