THE MISSISSIPPI?—

Not quite but Ham Branch was rockin’ and rollin’ pretty good Thursday morning after an overnight three-inch rain. A couple of low water crossings in Rock-dale were closed that morning but it was nothing like the situation in the rural bottomlands where there were a pair of high-water rescues by the Rockdale Volunteer Fire Department.
