The Martin Luther King Day Parade began in downtown Rockdale on Sunday and went east down US 79, turning right onto San Gabriel which turns into Plum, then down MLK Drive and ending at Sumuel Park. In the top photo, (L-R) Keith Nunn, Larry Wilcox and Jeanene Nunn march with the banner proclaiming MLK Day in honor of the slain civil-rights leader. Bottom left, James Barnes served as the grand marshal of the parade. Bottom right, horse riders take their positions before the start of the annual parade. Reporter photos
