Frigid temperatures did not stop Dr. King’s Dream as the annual Martin Luther King Day Parade took place at 1 p.m. Monday. The parade wound through downtown Rockdale and ended at Springfield Baptist Church where parade Grand Marshal Kerry Locklin, and others, spoke to a crowd of about 60 while they enjoyed hot chocolate and chili dogs which helped conquer the cold.
