MONEY FOR TEACHERS

Georgia Marshall (center) presents over $400 to Rockdale Elementary School Principal Shannon Pourmanafzadeh (L) and Assistant Elementary Principal Ashley Willard (R). The money came from the Chamber of Commerce’s Farmers Market on Main who held the fundraiser. Pourmanafzadeh said, “Huge thank you to the Rockdale Chamber of Commerce for the $435 check. We are so blessed to have community members that value our teachers and spoil them just a little. Mrs. Georgia Marshall was quick to remind me that this money was to be spent on teachers and we are excited to have a little extra money to purchase items that show our appreciation for all that our teachers do throughout the year.”
