MOONSHOT MEETING—Representatives from Project Moonshot met with a group of interested area residents Thursday in the Kay Theatre. The prototype project, funded through a grant from the Texas A&M Health Science Center, focuses on providing health care to rural areas who have lost their providers. Programs are to include an after-hours telemedicine “pod” which will be able to dispense over-the-counter medicine and advice, plus a program enabling first responders to reach and stabilize patients.
