Sales tax rebate numbers are staying positive as the December rebates got the new year off to a good start.
The percentage for Rockdale is up as it is for Milam County as a whole. The new year started a bit more slowly for the Rockdale Municipal Development District than it did for the city and county figures show.
Other counties and cities also saw healthy tax numbers from the state’s comptroller whose staff compiles the numbers monthly.
