Something new is happening after the Christmas Parade this Saturday. There will be music, food, fun and activities after the parade at Wolf Park.
In addition to Santa being in the parade he will also be at the I&GN Depot after the parade for photos and to make sure the kids get to tell him what they want him to bring for Christmas.
Music on stage is new this year and the lineup includes the St. John’s United Methodist Church Vacation Bible School children’s choir, soloists Tracy Beal, Michelle Kilgus and Victoria Everett StJohn and Gloria Rosas Zapata.
If you haven’t finished all of your Christmas shopping, vendors will be set up in the park including food and beverages such as papusas, corn in a cup, baked goods, soups, loaded grilled cheese sandwiches and street tacos.
The parade starts at 6 p.m. at Fair Park and will go down Mill Street to Caffey Corner then through downtown to Wolf Park.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to watch the show and eat.
