Early Friday afternoon, many community members made their way down to the One Stop Center, where the Rockdale Clinic had their grand opening complete with snacks and multiple represenresentatives, chatting to make connections with visitors while discussing the services they offer.

The clinic, which provides mental health services, will have skills training, case management services, supported employment and housing services.

They will also has telehealth operations as well as availability in person.

“Mental health is just as important as physical health,” said Esmeralda Ruelas-Olivares following the event. “Nobody should feel alone, nor the need to self-medicate.”

About 60 people attended the come-and-go event.

The Rockdale Clinic is part of Central County a Services, which has 25 different facilities in Bell, Coryell, Hamilton, Lampasas and Milam counties, all focusing on improving behavioral and developmental needs for their patients.

Clinics associated with CCS also provide counseling, medication management, psychosocial rehabilitative services and crisis services.
