Girl Scout leaders are hosting a membership pizza party for girls in grades K-12 who join the new Milam County Girl Scout Troop.

“Join us Sept. 23, 6-7 p.m. at Mr. Gatti’s to learn more about Milam County Girl Scouts K-12th grade,” said Rachel Owens and Tricia Weber, Girl Scout organizers. “There will be free pizza and drinks and free membership for those who join that evening.”

More than 50 million women in America today enjoyed Girl Scouts during their childhood—and that number keeps on growing as Girl Scouts of the USA continues to inspire, challenge, and empower girls everywhere, according to organizers.

“This year we are going to Texas A&M, University of Texas and Baylor University games, Christmas around the world, STEM events, pumpkin picking at Sweet Berry Farm, camping, enjoy wonders of nature gardens and much more,” said organizers.

Girl Scouts is a safe, no limits place where a girl can try new things, take on challenges, build community and inspire others.

A Girl Scout can transform her ideas into action, turn her questions into adventures, and grow her confidence through practice.
