Sam Houston State Fall 2020 graduates
The following area students received degrees during the 2020 Fall semester at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville.
Brenten Drummond, Bachelor of Arts in History, and Fredrick Henderson, Bachelor of Science in Animal Science, both of Rockdale.
Bailey Baggerly, Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, magna cum laude; and Madison Westbrook, Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, magna cum laude, both of Milano.
Texas Capitol set to reopen Jan. 4
AUSTIN – At a time when many state capitols, including the U.S. Capitol, are closed, state officials announced last week that the Texas Capitol will reopen Jan 4.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, safety protocols have been put in place to allow for the Capitol’s reopening. Preparations to safely conduct business in the Texas House and Senate are ongoing, and each chamber will vote upon their respective rules and protocols at the start of the legislative session on Jan. 11.
