The Class of 2027’s second annual bake sale will be held on Friday in front of Walmart from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. or until sold out.
Booster fish fry at Caffey Corner
Rockdale Tiger Booster Club’s fish fry has been rescheduled to this Friday at Caffey Corner starting at 11 a.m. until sold out. The fish fry was scheduled for last Saturday, but there was a scheduling conflict.
Plates are $12 and include fried fish, beans, coleslaw and hush puppies.
Jubilee Days
April 3rd-6th at Fair Park
Rockdale Fair Association’s Jubilee Days will be held April 3-6 at Fair Park with free admission on Wednesday and Thursday nights.
There will be a carnival, arts and crafts, car show, bounce houses, goat roping, pet pageant, food vendors, barbecue cookoff, live music, 42 and cornhole tournaments.
MVFD auxiliary seeks donations
The Milano Volunteer Fire Department’s Ladies Auxiliary is gearing up for their annual spring garage sale that will be held in April.
Donations are needed and may be dropped off at the fire department during weekdays at the back door. Large items can be picked up. Call Kain Dodd at 979-4365723 for pickup.
