Appraisal District seeks agriculture value data

CAMERON—The Milam Appraisal District is seeking information from local agricultural producers.

The survey asks for specific information on agricultural land lease prices as well as crop income and expenses. All information received will become part of a study that is used to set agricultural values for Milam County land owners.

“The input we receive from local producers is extremely important to us. Without it, we must rely solely on Federal and State databases that don’t always give us the most accurate information for Milam County,” Chief Appraiser Dyann White said.

The survey is available on the Appraisal District’s website at: www.milamad.org. Printed copies are also available at the Appraisal District office at 120 N. Houston, Cameron.
