CAMERON—Nine persons were sentenced in recent 20th District Court action, according to Prosecutor Bill Torrey, who listed case dispositions as follows:

• Michael Rangel, 30, Rockdale, pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation on possession of controlled substance (4-400 grams), six-year prison term.

• Israel Araujo, 22, Rock-dale, pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation on aggravated assault with deadly weapon, four-year prison term.

• Kennedy Hardway, 54, Rockdale, seven-year probated prison term, anger management classes, no contact with victim, $3,000 fine after pleading “no contest” to kidnapping.

• Aleah Dawn Freitag, 25, Rockdale, five years deferred adjudication, 90 days in intermediate sanction facility $1,500 fine after pleading guilty bail jumping–fail to appear.

• Melodie Rodenbeck, 47, Thorndale, three years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation, drug and substance abuse evaluation, $2,500 fine after pleading guilty to possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).

• Anthony Shane Murdoch, 22, Kempner, two years deferred adjudication, fined $2,000 fine after pleading guilty to possession of marijuana (4 ounces to 5 pounds).

• Nathan Lamar Orsak, 27, Rockdale, was placed on three years deferred adjudication, drug and substance evaluation, fined $2,500, $180 restitution to DPS lab, $962.73. Sentence was in misdemeanor case considered as part of the punishment after pleading guilty to felony possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).

• Brandi Lanae Keen, 44, Milano, was placed on two years deferred adjudication, fined $2,500 fine after pleading guilty to lesser included misdemeanor, evading arrest or detention.

• Thomas Edward Sayre, 55, Rockdale, two-year probated state jail term, drug and substance abuse evaluation, fined $2,500, $180 restitution to DPS lab after pleading guilty to possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).
