No bears, but plenty of creek

After the dry peak summer months comes September and it has looked like this early on. Frequent rainfall in Rockdale and Milam County has sent some streams over their banks. This is Bear Creek on FM 1600 north of the Rockdale area. More rain is in the forecast at midweek, accompanied by cooler temperatures. Milam County’s outdoor burn ban has been lifted.
