The filing pace for the May 4 city and school elections remained ice cold during the past week with no one filing for any race in Rock-dale, Milano or Thorndale.
With the Feb. 15 filing deadline there’s on one face, for the Milano School Board.
In the Rockdale ISD, incumbents Charles Miles (Place 4) and Wenda Dyer (Place 5) are seeking new terms and Jillian McEntarffer is seeking the Place 3 position being vacated by Michelle Lehmkuhl.
Still no filings for the Rockdale City Council where the terms of Mayor John King and council members Joyce Dalley (east ward) and Nathan Bland (west ward) are expiring.
There’s no hospital board election in 2019.
MILANO—It’s a four-person chase for three at-large terms on the Milano ISD School Board as incumbents Carl Blake, Lynnette Taylor and Michael Andrews have filed for new terms as has newcomer Dennis Magee.
NO ACTION—There have been no filings yet for either the Thorndale ISD Board of Trustees, the Thorndale City Council or the City of Milano.
Final day to get on the ballot for any of the May 4 races is Friday, Feb. 15.
