From County Judge Steve Young Thursday night:
I am happy to report we have no new confirmed PCR cases to report in Milam County Thursday. However, we do have four new probable cases (antigen) to report. In addition, we tested a record 30 people in Cameron today with four positive results. Friday we will test in Buckholts from 8:00 a.m. – noon. If you are a Milam County resident with symptoms, come see us for a free rapid test.
Yesterday, Governor Abbott issued Executive Order 32, which allows bars to reopen at 50% capacity, on October 14, 2020, so long at the bar is not in a high hospitalization area and the County Judge approves. Milam County is not in a high hospitalization area and I plan to sign an order to allow the bars in Milam County to reopen, pursuant to the restrictions of the Governor’s order.

- Confirmed PCR cases 520 – no change
- Confirmed active PCR cases 6 – no change
- Confirmed probable cases 82 up 4
- Confirmed active probable cases 19 up 3
- Monitored individuals 107 up 10
- Total monitored individuals by the Health Department 1032
- Hospitalized 1 – no change
- Deaths 7 – no change
