NORTHERN LIGHTS

Although not visible to the naked eye, Crystal Denman used some camera tricks to take these pictures of the aurora borealis from her property near Minerva. A solar storm caused the lights to be partially visible in southern states which is significantly less common than in the northern states. According to NASA the cycle of the northern lights will last through 2026.
