The Rock is alive with the sound of music for a solid 14 hours in downtown Rockdale Oct. 5, when the Rockdale Downtown Association hosts the second annual Rockdale Fall Music Festival in and around Wolf Park.

There’s also the annual 5K/1K Run for the Kay, a chili cookoff, vintage cars and campers, the P-TO’s fall carnival, a pumpkin patch and much more.

Music begins at 8 a.m. with long break until noon that will be followed by 30-minute breaks between musical acts.

Here’s the live music schedule, which will be on the corner of North Main and East Milam:

• 8 to 9 a.m.—Communities in Concert Band.

• 10 a.m. to 12-noon—Random music.

• 12-noon to 1:30 p.m.— Wes Barlow.

• 2 to 3:30 p.m.—Bluesadillo.

• 4 to 5:3o p.m.—Joel & the Roachkillers.

• 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.— Treble Soul.

• 8:30 to 10 p.m.— Brooke Graham.

There will also be wiener dog races (see page 2A), dominoes, washers, food booths and it all ends with a night street dance.

Those attending are invited to bring a lawn chair and enjoy a full day and evening. Wolf Park is at the corner of Main and Milam.
