Five Rockdale High School students have recently become Microsoft Certified in Excel, according to Glenda Walker, instructor. They are (above, from left) Nathan Thomas, Logan Palm, Peyton Shuffield and Koy Bleeker and, at left below, Jake Hasselbach. The Microsoft Excel Certification validates a professional’s abilities to work with MS Excel applications and tools. Excel Certification is recognized globally and benefits the candidate with better recognition and competitive edge over non-certified professionals. Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet application and features calculation, graphing tools, pivot tables and a macro programming language.
