Officers make 5 arrests during last week’s snowy conditions

Police made five arrests over the past week, but none of them were on felony charges, but included resisting arrest, criminal trespass, disorderly conduct abuse/ threat, disorderly conduct obscene language and public intoxication.

During the snowy and icy week four tickets were issued with only one for speeding.

There was one wreck reported over the bad weather week. It was a one-vehicle accident with no injuries reported. It happened on Tuesday in the 300 block of West Cameron Ave. at 8:51 a.m.

Several incident reports were filed involving burglary of a building, theft of a firearm and unauthorized use of a vehicle.

In all police responded to 493 calls with 151 being 911 calls.
