The official program of Rockdale’s 2024 Sesquicentennial celebration will be
annual FYI magazine which this year will be brought to you by the newspaper, the City of Rockdale and the sesquicentennial committee.
The content will list all of the activities and their locations for the 11-day celebration from July 4 to July 15 as well as a lot of historical information about Rockdale written by sesquicentennial committee members Geri Burnett, Lynn Young, Barbara Nelson and Joan Ratliff.
The official program will come out in The Reporter a few weeks before the activities start and there will be plenty of extras available at the events.
In the lead up to the celebration, The Reporter will write a weekly list of events so our readers can plan to attend.
